I feed this to my adult cats. Its first ...
I feed this to my adult cats. Its first ingredient is meat and is 42 percent protein-which is hard to find. The price is great- at least $10 less than grocery/pet food stores. I am fostering a mommy and her babies and they eat the purina one kitten food and are growing just the way they should.

Great for Hedgehogs (But my cats like it too)
I feed this to my hedgehog. She's old for a hedgehog (>7 years), so I can only assume that this food has something to do with keeping her healthy. Even the vet was surprised at how healthy she was! This is the only food I've fed her regularly in addition to some snacks. (I've attached a picture - the mealworms on top of it are not included.) (I have started feeling my cats this after they hated Taste of the Wild. I still am a little skeptical of dry food for cats, but they love it and it compliments their wet food. The 5 stars are mostly for my old lady of a hedgehog. )

Good ingredients at reasonable price
I have six cats, and this product is good for all of them, despite the wide range of ages (2 yrs to 10 yrs) - most importantly, they all seem to love it - when the dishes are half empty, they let me hear about it! We lost a cat to lyme disease and we haven’t gotten over that. We use a probiotic on all of our six cats Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving and they have firm stools and healthy appetites. I recommend this to all cat owners.

I have 4 adult indoor kitties and they can't get enough of this.
I have been feeding this brand to my cats for the past year after switching between a few cheap and expensive foods. Usually 2 out of 4 cats would like the cheap food, but the other 2 didn't. Vice versa when I tried more expensive brands, the other 2 cats would like the expensive brands but my cheap-o cats wouldn't touch it! SIGH. I bought this on a whim from Amazon after comparing the ingredients list to similar priced cat foods and several people had mentioned their pickier cats liked Purina One. This stuff is great, it's like meat cereal. All four of my kitties love it! In fact, I think they are pickier than before! I have tried home-making several kitty food recipes (some of this stuff I would've eaten, it smelled great!) but my cats would choose their Purina One dry food over a hot meal. My inner chef is crushed, but I am glad they're happy. I will keep buying this for my cats probably forever.

Dream Come True for the owner of a long haired, indoor kitty! >^..^<
We recently adopted a mostly indoor adult male cat. He weighs about 16lbs and is more than two feet long. He has BEAUTIFUL long fur and is a love who rubs all over us, plays like a kitten and "chases" the kids. We adore him. As I mentioned... he weighs at least 16 lbs. That is a whole lot of kitty cat to feed and maintain. Last Spring, no matter how much we brushed him, he was like an exploding furball machine. It was on EVERYTHING. Ugh. We continued to brush him even more but decided we needed to change his food. We went with Purina, It has a trusted name in the pet food industry, doesn't cost a fortune and he seemed to really like it. What I noticed after a week or so is that the furball landmines he had been depositing throughout my home were lessening! Hooray! Nobody wants to sit or step in yucky furball or cat vomit. Sorry for the details but cat people probably understand the dilemma. His furballs are very rare now and I believe the indoor formula is responsible. It aids in his digestion for sure. Thankful to have found this product and to have it delivered to my home rather than me lugging big bags of food in and out of my car. We are fans! Give this a shot for your indoor cat! I think you will be glad you did!

Good food for variety of cat sizes.
We have 3 cats of various ages. 2 are indoor/outdoor and 1 is strictly an indoor only cat. We started feeding this brand of cat food at the recommendation of our vet. While none of our cats are over weight, they are each healthy and very different in size. This food has helped them maintain their weight, made their coats shine and given each of them the required amount of energy to do the things cats do throughout their ‘busy’ day.

way better than the other formula
My cats were constantly vomiting up their food when I was using Purina indoor cat formula. I know were not supposed to just up and change their food but I didn't know what else to do; I felt so bad for them. I've been using this since Oct 25, 2018 and the cats haven't vomited at all. I dont know if it's a new formula or what. Castiel, my mini panther has a really sensitive tummy, I adopted him and Dean from the shelter at 9 weeks old and it took 5 trips to the vet to get rid of all his parasites. He's always had trouble keeping food down, and he's 7 years old now. This food has been a real gift for him. He seems to enjoy it and hasn't had any issues at all. If you have a cat with sensitive tummy you might give this a go. Both my cats are 7 and neither have issues with this formula when they had been vomiting every other day on the regular indoor purina formula. Also, I just want to note that I have tried in the past few years the more expensive stuff like whole earth and a few other brands that were grain free thinking that would work. They did a little better on whole earth but were still having issues so I will stick with this. whole earth is another one that might be a good choice for folks. Dean did fine with it but Cas didn't, and we all know that when we try two different foods they have to eat what the other has lol. Anyhow, hope this helps.

Real meat makes cats happy
If I have to run to the store to get cat chow because we run out of this at home, my cats meow and get pissed off. I wondered why, so I ate a little bit of both. Cat chow tastes like cardboard. Purina One tastes like meat cereal. Apparently my cats can tell the difference too. (For the record: neither taste great.)

Excellent formula for Purina One eaters
After experimenting at first with a few different brands, my indoor/outdoor cat settled on Purina One Salmon (https://smile.amazon.com/Purina-Tender-Selects-Blend-Salmon/dp/B000R4H2MI ) as his preferred food and this worked well for about seven years. When it came time to move downtown and for him to become an indoor cat (with occasional walks outside), he began to gain wait from his newer, more sedentary lifestyle. I expected this would be an issue somewhat, but knew I needed to find solutions in all areas. After gradually shifting around, I switched to the Indoor Advantage formula and it helped keep his weight under control. If you have a cat that now has reduced calorie needs, I think this formula is definitely worth a shot. It's worked for him for about 2.5 years now.

Will buy again
I searched for a food that did not list grain as the first ingredient, nor chicken by-product. Having turkey first meant it's better nutrition-wise for my cat, and she also despises chicken in general, so this was a pleasant surprise! I was mostly surprised how much she liked it, as she's never had dry food before, and I gave it to her at the same time as her wet food. She will eat some of the wet, then some of the dry, switching back and forth. Her tummy seems to take it well, so I will definitely be buying again! Thanks so much.
